Understanding Our
Approach Before Pricing

Before reviewing pricing, we want to ensure you have a clear understanding of our services. Holistic Harmony Veterinary Services focuses on integrative and holistic care.  HHVS does not replace your primary care veterinarian. We work alongside your regular vet to support your pet’s overall well-being.

Services Not Offered By Holistic Harmony:

  • Wellness visits/annual exam
  • Yearly vaccinations
  • Routine Blood test/lab work including heartworm testing, fecal and urinalysis
  • Dentistry/spays/neuters, or any anesthestic procedures
  • Imaging (xrays, sonogram/ultrasound, etc)
  • Hospitalization
  • Emergency care

Please note that our practice does not provide services for ACUTELY sick, injured, or emergency cases.  Once your pet has been evaluated (and stabilized) by your primary veterinarian, HHVS is happy to provide ongoing integrative care and support.

We do not offer diagnosis or treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, or urgent medical concerns.

If your pet is exhibiting signs of illness or requires immediate medical attention, we advise that you contact a full-service veterinary clinic or emergency veterinary hospital without delay.

This policy ensures we remain within our scope of practice and can continue to provide safe, high-quality care for our patients.

Investment And Visit Structure

Initial integrative consultation typically range from $350–550 for the consultation portion of the visit.  Total appointment investment may vary based on your pet’s medical history, individual needs, travel location on Long Island, and recommended therapies.

In many cases, Dr. S is unable to determine which therapies will be most appropriate or effective until medical records have been carefully reviewed and a comprehensive physical examination and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) assessment have been performed. This thorough, whole-patient evaluation is what allows for precise, individualized recommendations rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

A general estimate can be provided prior to scheduling to help guide expectations; however, once the consultation and examinations are completed, Dr. S will provide a more detailed and accurate treatment plan with associated costs, and together we will determine the most appropriate path forward.

This model ensures a highly personalized, concierge-level experience with dedicated time for education, communication, and compassionate care for both pets and their families. Customized estimates are always provided as part of the care process.

Ask Dr. S About Ongoing Care Frameworks!

Our Ongoing Care Framework is designed to provide structured, continuous support for patients with complex, chronic, or life-limiting conditions. Care is delivered through individualized pathways that prioritize consistency, communication, and proactive medical oversight

Palliative and Chronic Disease
Management Care Pathway

This program is designed for patients with chronic or progressive conditions such as kidney disease, heart disease, endocrine disorders, arthritis, neurologic or mobility issues, spinal herniation, and other illnesses impacting quality of life.

Rather than intermittent visits, this pathway provides ongoing, active management focused on maintaining comfort, minimizing disease flare-ups, and optimizing daily function. Care is proactive, with emphasis on early intervention using integrative therapies such as acupuncture, laser therapy, nutritional support, and medication optimization.

Each patient begins with a comprehensive integrative consultation, after which care transitions into a structured follow-up model that may include regular reassessment visits, telehealth communication, and ongoing clinical guidance to support stability and comfort at home.

Hospice and End of Life Care Pathway

Our Palliative & End-of-Life Care Pathway provides compassionate, comprehensive support for pets facing advanced chronic illness, terminal disease, or declining quality of life. This includes patients with cancer as well as other conditions such as heart disease, kidney failure, neurologic decline, osteoarthritis, and age-related frailty.

The focus of this pathway is not disease alone, but comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Care is designed to support both pets and their families through medical guidance, symptom management, and thoughtful decision-making during this stage of life.

Each patient receives a thorough evaluation and individualized care plan that may include pain management (using western pharmaceuticals), integrative therapies such as acupuncture or laser therapy when appropriate, medication adjustment, nutritional support, and emotional guidance for families navigating difficult decisions.

When cancer is present, this care may be coordinated with oncology treatment or transitioned into comfort-focused management depending on disease progression and goals of care. However, this pathway is not limited to oncology patients and is equally applicable to other advanced or end-stage conditions.

The emphasis of this approach is continuous reassessment of comfort, proactive symptom control, and compassionate support to ensure that each pet’s remaining time is as peaceful and meaningful as possible.
